Unlucky defeat: Skendija wins with two penalties in Skopje

Rabotnicki suffered e heartbreaking loss (1-2) against Skendija, playing better than the reigning champions, paying the price for the missed chances. Skendija scored both goals from the penalty spot, while we finished the match with ten players on the field, after the captain Goran Siljanovski received a red card in the 78. minute.

Rabotnicki scored the first goal on the match, Sharkoski placing the shot in the net from inside the box. Skendija managed to equalize in the 19. minute, Besart Ibraimi was fouled by Stojkov and Agim Ibraimi was on target with the shot from the spot. Ackovski and Sharkoski both had good chances before the end of the half, while Jago’s shot went just wide.

Rabotnicki was better also in the second half, but Zahov saved Skendija from another goal, saving great shots from Tosevski and Siljanovski. Six minutes later, Siljanovski received his marching orders after a second yellow card and Skendija took advantage of this situation.

Second penalty was given to Skendija after a foul on Fazli, Agim Ibraimi scoring once more to bring all three points to the guests from Tetovo.
