Najdenov rescues a draw against Dinamo Minsk

Rabotnicki drew 1-1 at home against Dinamo Minsk in the first leg of the second qualification round of the Europa League in Skopje. Our team can be satisfied by the result, after scoring the equalizer in extra time, and with ten players on the field after Emir Sahiti received a red card in the second half.

Suad Sahiti had the first chance of the match, but the attacker didn’t control the ball as well as he should after a great pass by Kire Markoski. After this Dinamo had two chances, but the guests didn’t react good enough to score a goal. Suad Sahiti had a great shot saved by the goalkeeper as the first half came to an end.

The guests opened the score in the 53. minute, when Kvachinski was left all alone and scored a header from five meters past Siskovski. Kire Markoski shot over the bar in the 75. minute, while seven minutes later the referee didn’t point to the spot after Trajcevski fell in the box. In the 83. minute Rabotnicki was left with ten players, after Emir Sahiti received a red card for a foul on Lekovic.

Rabotnicki even with one player less on the field continued to press and deservedly rescued a draw when Najdenov scored a penalty after Bilali was fouled in the box.
