Rabotnicki is too good for Metalurg

Rabotnicki claimed another victory in the Macedonian First League, managing to win 1-2 away to Metalurg and stay on the third place of the table.

Our team took the lead in the first attack. The second minute of the match was being played, Jovanovski had a good cross from the left get to Ristovski, who managed to put the ball in the net. Eight minutes later Rabotnicki had one more chance, but Ristovski wasn’t at his best situation. Metalurg punished this miss in the 15. Minute, when Vlatko Stojanovski scored after a fastbreak. Rabotnicki continued to dominate and missed another chance in the 25. Minute when Sahiti shot well, but Stojanovski saved Metalurg stopping the ball at the goal-line.

Our team’s attractive play continued in the second half, the pressure paid off in the 56. minute when Krivanjeva played with his hand in Metalurg’s box, getting a red card. Bojan Najdenov was on spot from the 11-metre shot, scoring his first goal for Rabotnicki since the transfer from Turnovo. In the 68. Minutes both teams were left with ten players, when Cikarski received a red card for hitting Korenica with his elbow.

Rabotnicki made one more glorious chance in the 89. Minute when Gajic missed from just five metres after a great pass from Herera.

However, the most important thing is the victory for our team, who has a 100% effect in the second part of the season.
